Begun more than thirty years ago, the Botts Collection of LGBT History, Inc. is now a tax exempt corporation housed in the Montrose area at 2515 Waugh Drive, Houston, TX  77006.

If we can help you research a Houston GLBT matter, please contact us.   Although our primary interest is Houston, we have widespread general expertise.    We are frequently on the premises working, but it is best to please call us before you come by:   713-256-7392.

The Collection actively seeks donations of GLBT activist papers, books, diaries, newspapers, magazines, films, videos, photos, posters, ephemera -- almost anything reflecting on Houston's GLBT people, events and history.  We are happy to pick up donated materials - just contact us.

With your permission, for the benefit of those seeking the history of the GLBT Houston Community.  your donations will be cataloged and indexed and made available to researchers and scholars as well as the general public worldwide via the internet.    We can also delay publication of sensitive materials for as long as you wish.

The Collection under the guidance of Larry Criscione serves the GLBT community, researchers, scholars, documentary makers and all those interested in our history.

The Board President Leif Hatlen can be reached at lhatlen@aol.com, and the Curator of the Collection, Larry Criscione at 713-256-7392.
