The University of Houston has a number of faculty and staff who have been involved in Houston ARCH from the beginning of the consortium. In addition to a well-established Women's Studies program and a newly developed LGBT Studies Minor, the M. D. Anderson Library of the University of Houston also has a range of collections of interest to Houston ARCH:
